Frequently Asked Questions

Childcare is a big decision. We want you to feel informed every step of the way.

  • A nanny share is when two compatible Denver families share one dedicated, vetted nanny. Each family pays a portion of the nanny's hourly rate, making it significantly more affordable than a private nanny while maintaining the quality and consistency of in-home care. It's one of the smartest childcare solutions available for Denver families today.

  • In Denver, nanny share rates typically range from $30–$50 per hour total, meaning each family pays roughly $15–$25 per hour. This is significantly less than a private nanny while your child still receives dedicated, in-home care.

Our agency fees start with a $500 intake fee, followed by a placement fee based on your service:

    • Families who need both a share partner and a nanny — 7% of the nanny's gross salary for the contract period

    • Families who already have a share partner and only need a nanny — 5% of the nanny's gross salary for the contract period

    Payment plans are available.

  • Private nanny rates in Denver typically range from $25-35 per hour depending on experience, the number of children, and the specific needs of the household. A nanny share allows two families to split the cost while the nanny earns a competitive rate — often more than a standard single family placement.

  • Yes, all families are required to process nanny compensation through a licensed payroll service. We partner with HomePay, a household payroll and tax compliance service. Families receive their first month free. Please reach out for current monthly pricing.

  • The average placement takes 6–8 weeks from your initial inquiry to your nanny's first day. This includes your discovery call, family matching if needed, nanny sourcing and vetting, interviews, and onboarding. Some placements move faster depending on availability and how quickly both parties are ready to move forward.

  • We match families based on location, schedule compatibility, and most importantly the needs and temperament of the children. No two pods are the same — every match is intentional and thoughtful. If you don't have a family in mind, we'll find one for you.

  • Yes! All placements include a trial period. Nanny share and part-time placements include a 2-week trial, and long-term placements of 6 months or more include a 3-week trial. If either party decides the placement isn't the right fit by the end of the trial period, both parties may exit the agreement without penalty. We'll work with you on next steps including bridge care options through our babysitting membership.

  • Because our fees are intentionally kept low, the Agency is not able to offer free replacement placements after the trial period. We believe in transparent, affordable pricing — and that means being upfront about what's included.

Families are welcome to restart the placement process at a reduced intake fee. In the meantime, we strongly encourage enrolling in our babysitting membership as bridge care — it's exactly what it's designed for. Families with an active or recently ended placement receive a discounted rate of $90/year.

  • Every caregiver in our network passes a comprehensive background check, driving record verification, and holds a current CPR & First Aid certification. We also verify a minimum of two professional references before any caregiver is placed with a family. If a caregiver's CPR certification has lapsed, we sponsor their renewal. Your family's safety is non-negotiable.

  • Yes! Our Flexible Care service covers both part-time placements (25 hours or less per week) and short-term placements (up to 3 months). This is perfect for Denver families who need reliable childcare during a transition, a busy season, after-school care, or while waiting for a daycare spot to open.

  • Our babysitting membership gives Denver families access to pre-vetted sitters on demand for $120 per year or $90 per year for families who have signed a placement agreement with us. Members receive up to 4 bookings per month. Babysitting rates in Denver typically range from $20-$30 per hour, paid directly to the sitter. One time drop in bookings are also available for a flat $30 booking fee.

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance are accepted at no charge. Membership bookings retain their monthly credit. Drop-in fees are non-refundable.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance result in the loss of one monthly credit and the family owes the sitter a minimum of 2 hours at the agreed hourly rate. Drop-in fees are non-refundable.

No-shows result in the loss of one monthly credit and the family owes the sitter a minimum of 3 hours at the agreed hourly rate. Drop-in fees are non-refundable.

If late cancellation or no-show compensation is not paid to the sitter within 14 days, the membership or booking agreement is immediately terminated with no refund.
