What is On Demand & Fill In Care?

Sometimes you need a nanny fast. Your regular caregiver is sick, on vacation, or unavailable and you still have to work. That is exactly what this service is for.

We match families with experienced vetted caregivers for short blocks of time: a day, a week, or up to three months. No long term commitment. No complicated contracts. Just reliable care when you need it most.

Short Term Care

Short term care is seasonal support that typically lasts three to four months. Maybe you just had a baby and your older kid needs more hands on time than you can give right now. Maybe work got crazy for a few months and you need backup. Whatever the season we can help. Mother helper services are a natural extension of this for families in those early newborn weeks who just need an extra set of hands.

Services & Pricing

1 day — $50 booking fee

2 to 4 days — $100 booking fee

1 week — $175 booking fee

2 weeks — $200 booking fee

1 month — $300 booking fee

2 to 3 months — $500 booking fee

Urgent booking fees:

Last minute (under 24 hours) — additional $25

Same day (under 4 hours) — additional $40

Caregiver is paid directly by you at an agreed hourly rate. Booking fees are non-refundable.

    We check our network and confirm an available vetted caregiver.

  • Step 3 - Meet Your Caregiver

    You receive their contact info before they arrive.

    Please note that interviews are not part of the on demand and fill in care process. You will receive your caregiver's full profile and contact information before they arrive — we handle the vetting so you do not have to.

  • Step 4 - Coverage Confirmed

    Your caregiver shows up and your day keeps moving.

Before anyone meets your family they have already been through:

-Interview with our team

-Personal reference checks

-CPR & First Aid certification — current and verified

-MVR (driving record) verification

-Criminal and county background check

We do all of this so that when your caregiver arrives you feel comfortable, reassured, and confident they can handle the day.

Please note that on demand and fill in care is a matching service. Three Peas in a Pod connects you with a vetted caregiver and steps back.
